Annulment and re-running of the Election of Officers
| Due to an official protest of certain election results by a member who was not a candidate for election, the IBEW Canada 1st District office conducted an investigation into the allegations.
The investigation reported that the process used to submit nominations and ballots contravenes the official election process of the international office. The IBEW 1st District (Canada) office and the International Vice President for Canada have ordered an annulment of the election and have directed Local 2228 to re-run the Election of Officers in its entirety.
