The nomination period for election of officers to Local 2228 is now closed. The candidates that have been nominated for office are as follows:

The Local congratulates the members who were elected by acclamation.
Ballots for the Business Manager / Financial Secretary, President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Executive Board Member – Region 3, Executive Board Member – Region 5 and Executive Board Member – Region 6 elections will follow in May with the vote count taking place on June 6th.
We remind candidates that they have until May 7, 2025 to accept their nominations (if they have not already done so) and send a summary of their union activities to the recording secretary (sec@ibew2228.ca). The summaries received will be posted on the website in the coming weeks.
