Officer Election 2025 – Update
The nomination period for election of officers to Local 2228 is now closed. The candidates that have been nominated for office are as follows:
Business Manager and Financial Secretary / Delegate to the International Convention: Tristan Smith, Jeffrey Wendt
President / Delegate to the International Convention: Mohammed Osman
Vice President: Kathryn Van Ameyde
Treasurer: Ryan Saw, Jonathon Alison
Recording Secretary: Fraser Young
Member of the Executive Board – Region 1: Paul MacDonald
Member of the Executive Board – Region 2: No (eligible) Nominations
Member of the Executive Board – Region 3: Francis Gravel, Joel Go Paul, Lindsay Hall

Ballots will now be prepared and mailed to members with the vote count taking place on September 29th. Completed ballots must be sent by mail and any ballots received after the close of business on September 28th, 2025 will not be counted.
